Everton have signed defender Hannah Blundell on a permanent deal following her loan spell last season.
The 32-year-old made 10 appearances last term on loan from Manchester United.
He became a free agent when his contract with United expired in June and Everton had always hoped to bring him back to Merseyside.
“It’s a proud moment for me and my family and something I wanted to do,” Blundell said.
“Whenever I knew Scott (Phelan) was going to be the manager, it was an easy decision. I want to play with these players.
“You could see the joy we had at the World Sevens tournament in May. I think everyone showed their true colours. The club is a very special one.
“I’m very proud to wear the badge properly this time. Hopefully we can make some special memories together.”
Blundell, who has three England caps, spent five years at United and made almost 100 appearances.
He progressed through Chelsea’s academy and played for their first team for eight years before leaving in 2021.
Blundell gave birth to her daughter in March 2025 and returned to football late last year.
