Ipswich Town continued their strong run in the summer transfer market after agreeing a deal with Fulham to sign Morocco international Issa Diop in a bid to bolster their defense ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.

Diop is one of the notable names in the back line as he has previously represented France at various age groups before choosing to represent Morocco and most recently with them at the 2026 World Cup finals.

The Moroccan international has just one year left on his contract at Fulham, which has eased his move to Ipswich, who are set to face the challenges of the new Premier League season after returning to the competition and hoping to bolster their ranks with players with experience at the highest level.
