Welsh rider Jo Backstead has retained the 2026 Ballois Ladies Tour title, a year after becoming the race’s youngest ever winner.
The 21-year-old’s performance included a time trial win in Stage 3A on Saturday and he finished with an overall time of 11 hours, 27.08 minutes.
Just one second overall separated Netherlands’ Nienke Veenhoven – who won the final stage – and Australia’s Felicity Wilson-Haffenden. They finished 22 and 23 seconds respectively behind Backstead.
English competitor Millie Cougens finished fifth behind Charlotte Cool of the Netherlands.
