Kirandeep Kaur’s family are ‘deeply saddened by her death,’ says sister.

“She was my world,” said the sister of the 24-year-old mother who was stabbed to death in bed with her husband and baby in west London on Sunday.

Kirandeep Kaur, originally from India, was severely attacked at her home in Hayes.

“She is everything to me, she calls me and my mother on video. What would we do without her?” said her sister Bhusaran through an interpreter from the Maja region of Punjab, India.

A man has been charged in Kaur’s murder.

Bohasaran, 21, said her sister came to London to support her family in search of a better job.

“My sister moved to the UK in September 2024 to study at a new university in Buckinghamshire.

“She finished school and worked in a grocery store.

“We talked on the phone, but she didn’t come back, so I didn’t see her.

“When she got to London – she told me it was beautiful and she was happy.”

“She’s very intelligent,” says Gusharan, her sister.

“She was top of her class when she was studying in India, she’s a very hard worker. She loves us all very much.”

Gusharan added: “Our family is very poor. She always thought about us. She was very helpful to me. She was my world. My heart is sad.”
