A United Airlines flight hit a vehicle while landing

A dash cam inside a delivery truck shows the moment a United Airlines flight clipped the vehicle as it approached Newark Liberty International Airport outside New York City.

The flight from Venice, Italy landed safely, with all 231 passengers and crew on board unharmed. The truck driver suffered minor injuries.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident and has ordered United Airlines to provide a cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder. The airline’s maintenance team is assessing the damage to the aircraft.
