Despite the official denial… new chapters in the story of Mohamed Salah and Besiktas

The Egyptian star is confusing everyone.. There is no settled arrangement and the door is still open

Media reports have revealed the latest developments on the future of former Liverpool star Mohamed Salah after Turkey’s Besiktas denied reaching an agreement with the Egypt captain to join them in the current summer transfer window.

Salah and Liverpool announced earlier this year that the player’s career with the Reds will end at the end of the 2025-26 season, making him available for a move to any club after the end of his contract.

News of an agreement with Besiktas

This was reported by French reports, especially the Foot Mercato website, together with journalist Santi Ona “Besiktas” reached a verbal agreement with Mohamed Salah to move to their ranks for free.

According to the report, the offer includes a one-season contract with an option to extend for an additional year, with an annual salary of 10 million euros, in addition to two million euros in bonuses.

Salah’s agent responds

The news prompted a swift response from Mohamed Salah’s agent, Rami Abbas, who hinted that what is being circulated about the player’s appointment decision is not true.

Abbas wrote through his account on the “X” platform.Personally, I don’t know where Mohamed will play next season..What does that tell you?

On the same day, the player’s agent announced that Salah’s future is still undecided, stressing that they may know his new destination soon.

He added:It is not our style to enter into negotiations with clubs that Mohamed does not want to play for“Only to create media hype.”

“Besiktas” denies

For its part, “Besiktas” club issued an official statement He denied the validity of the rumors that talked about reaching an agreement with the Egyptian star.

The Turkish club stated in its statement. “Our club confirms that what journalist Yagız Sabuncuoğlu published on digital platforms regarding the club’s transfer negotiations and the terms of some transactions have nothing to do with reality and are considered mere baseless accusations.”

He added: “The above-mentioned person has always misled public opinion by publishing fake news that is not based on any facts and is in no way related to the contractual documents of our club.

Fabrizio Romano explains

However, reliable transfer market expert and journalist Fabrizio Romano explained that the Turkish club has already made an official offer to include Salah, but emphasized that the deal has not yet been decided.

Romano said on his YouTube channel. “Why did Besiktas release an official statement to deny the rumours, as the deal for Mohamed Salah is not yet complete?”

“Before reaching a final agreement, it is natural for the clubs to be cautious. Besiktas are already working on trying to sign Salah and have made an offer to sign him.

He continued. “However, nothing can be confirmed until a formal agreement is reached and we are still waiting for the next steps.”

Saudi and American offers continue

Romano noted that Besiktas are not the only side interested in signing the Egypt international, as clubs from the Saudi Arabian Professional League, in addition to the American League clubs, are still in strong competition for his services.

He concluded by stressing that the Turkish club prefers to move quietly and not reveal the details of the negotiations in light of the ongoing competition with other offers, until a comprehensive agreement is reached with the player or his final destination is determined.
