Confirmation and denial…An urgent meeting between Perez and Mourinho tomorrow

In recent hours, the news has been mixed about the upcoming meeting between Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.

Initially, Radio Marca broke news that an agreement had been reached between the two sides for a meeting tomorrow as there were positive hints of Mourinho’s return to take over the technical leadership of the team again.

But Onda Cero radio quickly denied the news, confirming that there is currently no scheduled meeting between Perez and Mourinho, reflecting the state of conflicting information on the file.

This ambiguity heightens speculation about the future of Real Madrid’s coaching staff, given the widespread public expectation of any official developments in the near future.

Real Madrid continues to look for a new coach who will lead the team next season, replacing Alvaro Arbeloa, who took over the coaching job of the Merengues from the middle of the current season.

Real Madrid are on the brink of a fresh start to the season after missing out on the Copa del Rey title, a bye in the Champions League quarter-finals and a looming La Liga victory over Barcelona.

Arbeloa has been acting as Real Madrid coach on an interim basis following Xabi Alonso’s Spanish Super Cup defeat to Barcelona.
