Asus’ top 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor is $400

The Asus ROG Swift 32-inch 4K QD-OLED The gaming monitor has everything I want in a high-end gaming monitor, especially the QD-OLED panel for inky blacks and vivid colors that surpass what’s possible on an LCD screen. Amazon, Best Buyand B&H photo have this model on sale for $899.99 (regularly $1,299.99). It is especially suitable for fast games with 240Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync variable refresh rate to prevent screen tearing.

This monitor has been available at this price since July. We don’t know how long this deal will last, but Asus is trying to move units at a lower price so they can focus on their own. $1,299.99 new which has a Tandem QD-OLED display and a slightly brighter display.

The port selection is good, with a DisplayPort 2.1 input, HDMI 2.1 ports, and USB-C for video via DisplayPort alt mode (with 90W charging power), plus a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with three Type-A ports. What’s notable is that this and other Asus OLED monitors have a proximity sensor that turns them off when you walk away to reduce the risk of burnout. It has a three-year warranty that covers internal heat and wear and tear.
