“Barcelona” is taking the first step to include the Brazilian national team player

“Barcelona” continues to work on its plans for the next season and has considered several options to strengthen the left-back position.

The newspaper Mundo Deportivo notes that among the names that appeared recently is the name of the current player of “Monaco” Caio Henrique (26 years old), who is admired by the sports administration of “Barcelona”.

Recently, the Catalan club contacted the Brazilian player’s agents in the form of Giuliano Bertolucci in preparation for the upcoming summer transfer window.

“Monaco” has not ruled out the possibility of selling the player, although it has set an initial price of around 15 million euros to start negotiations.

Barcelona’s sporting director Deco is leading the effort as part of a program through which the club seeks to recruit a defender with an attacking mindset and the ability to adapt to different tactical circumstances. Caio Henrique has recently recovered from a quadriceps injury he suffered against Paris Saint-Germain on March 6.

This injury prevented him from joining the Brazilian national team in the last international friendlies. However, the right-back has become a regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s side and has already made five international appearances, and his development has not gone unnoticed in the transfer market.

Last weekend, he reappeared in Monaco’s win against Metz, making a good impression.
