‘Y’all are pissin’ me off’: Pitt star Isa Briones tells ‘disrespectful’ fans to stop booing her during Broadway show | The Pitt

Pitt star Isa Briones has given a powerful message to fans who spoke out about the medical drama she experienced while on stage in the Broadway musical.

Briones, who stars in the musical Just in Time, rose to fame for her role on the hit HBO series, as resident doctor Trinity Santos. In the second season of showwhich began in January, Santos repeatedly struggled to finish his charts on time.

“Hey, yeah, yeah!” Briones wrote on Instagram. “Again, Broadway is not a show. Don’t scream whatever you want at the actors. Shouting ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing Who’s Sorry Now? It’s disrespectful to the musicians on stage and to your fellow audience members.

He added: “Love is light and please remember that you are living in a shared space and viewing art.”

Briones made her Broadway debut in 2024 as Eurydice in Hadestown. In April she began playing Connie Francis in Just in Time, a jukebox musical about US singer and songwriter Bobby Darin.

Since its debut in 2025, The Pitt has become an international hit and has changed the careers of many young people who play with student doctors who work at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.

Briones co-star Patrick Ball, who plays Dr Frank Langdon, is also performing on Broadway and has spoken of Pitt fans waiting outside the stage door with gifts, I tell the Prestige Junkie podcast: “When you’re making TV, we live in our little fluorescent box at Warner Brothers – we’re kind of cut off from the people who are actually receiving our work.” So you walk out the stage door, and everyone who’s been supporting The Pitt, they’re all there.

Since its second season in January, The Pitt has topped the Nielsen charts more than 1 billion viewers for eight straight weeks.

The second season is expected to dominate the Emmys in September. The first season was nominated for 13 Emmys and won five, including best drama, best actor for Noah Wyle and best supporting actress for Katherine LaNasa. A third season is in the works.
