US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced that all military personnel age 30 and older will be tested for testosterone deficiency as part of their annual health checkup. People with low testosterone are given voluntary testosterone replacement therapy.
Service members under the age of 30 can opt in for a trial. The Pentagon is silent on whether hormone replacement therapy is available to women.
