Here are some MagSafe wireless chargers we’ve tested that didn’t quite make it to the top.

Mouse Dual Charging Station $100: This dual charger from Mous looks good, but it disappoints in speed, outputting 15 watts on the main MagSafe pad and only 5 watts on the second Qi pad, although there is a USB-C port that can charge up to 18 watts. You can also add an Apple Watch charger ($55) which magnetically connects to the pogo pins at the other end (5-watt maximum) is the Nightstand mode output.
Anker MagGo Wireless Charger Pad (Qi2) for $30: Our top pick until Apple updates, this Qi2 charger brings MagSafe-style charging and a 15-watt maximum. This pad stays put, has a sturdy aluminum case that stays cool, and comes with a 5-foot USB-C cable built in permanently. It can also charge AirPods with magnetic charging, but it doesn’t come with a power adapter.
Belkin BoostCharge Pro Convertible Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand for $60: This Qi2-certified stand has a magnetic base that can be used to charge old phones or fold up to act as a MagSafe stand for iPhones and other Qi2-enabled phones on screen or in a display (supporting StandBy mode). It charges up to 15 watts and comes with a 5-foot USB-C to USB-C cable and power supply.
Casetify PowerThru 2-in-1 Charging Stand for $92: If you need a MagSafe iPhone charger for your AirPods (or other earphones), this one from Casetify is a good choice. It has a square base with an indent for AirPods, a metal rod, and a slightly adjustable MagSafe pad for your iPhone that charges at 7.5 watts. I don’t like the logo around the pad, the options with basketball hoops and other basic designs, or the LED lights.
Casetify Magnetic Wireless Charger for $38: A sleek design elevates Casetify’s MagSafe charger. It features over 600 designs, from cat art to sports teams. It’s a Qi charger with MagSafe, so it’s compatible with MagSafe iPhones and charges at 7.5 watts, but it also supports Qi charging and can charge any Qi phone up to 15 watts. It comes with a 3.3-foot (permanently attached) black and white USB-C cable, but you need a power adapter.
Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger with MagSafe $150: This is a convenient way to travel, although it takes up a lot of space when opened. It folds neatly into a cloth box with a cable and charging adapter. It charges iPhones quickly at 15 watts, supports fast charging for the Apple Watch, and has room for your AirPods Pro.
MagSafe is the name of the Apple add-on system integrated in iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, iPhone 16and iPhone 17 versionexcept iPhone 16e. The magnetic ring on the back of the phone (and in MagSafe cases) can help transfer power more accurately and faster than ever before. wireless chargers. However, it’s a useful way to hold an accessory in place, like a case, or to put the iPhone in place without the need for cables. There are many MagSafe compatible devices now.
Qi2 and the next level of wirelessand Apple worked with the Wireless Power Consortium to develop it. Compared to the original Qi standard, it brings MagSafe as magnetic, faster charging, and better control, but where MagSafe is an Apple technology designed for Apple products, every device supports Qi2. Apple has updated the iPhone 12 to support Qi2, so Qi2 should be the first thing you look for when buying a wireless charger. We are starting to see more Qi2 Android phones, such as Google Pixel 10 images (except 10a), and Qi2 ready phones which increases the magnetic field using a a joint issue. The Qi2 charger can charge your iPhone and any other Qi2 compatible phones.
Qi2 25W and the latest version of Qi2.2, which supports fast charging up to 25 watts for phones that support the standard, such as iPhone 17 series and the Pixel 10 Pro XL.
StandB mode is activated iOS 17 and helps you do so use your phone as a bedside clock. When you place your iPhone on the charging dock, it turns the screen into a color dock, displaying a clock (with different designs to choose from), photos from your library, or widgets. If you have an iPhone that supports the always-on screen, you can choose to have the display turn off after a period of time when the iPhone is not in use or if the room is dark. Go to Settings > Standby that you liked it.
Android phone owners can set the screen to appear when their phone is placed on the Qi2 charging stand. You can set a digital or analog clock, a slideshow from Google Photos, or Google Home controls to quickly access your home devices. Go to Settings > Display & touch > Screensaver fix it.
I test any Qi2 or MagSafe charger for at least a week, using it to charge my iPhone 16 and my wife’s iPhone 12. I also test Qi2 chargers with my Pixel 10 Pro XL. I keep many chargers on my nightstand or my desk at work. Where possible, I look at the cost of charging and see how long it takes to charge my iPhone. I check the design, the magnetic strength, test the extra charging or ports, and test any special features.
