Ninja’s microwave air fryer can be prepared for reheating pizza

When you heat your food using the microwave, you have the option to switch to using hot air so that the result is crisp instead of soggy, and you can replace two kitchen appliances with just one operation. It comes with a bunch of microwave presets that include popcorn, defrost, frozen dinner, and butter reduction settings. Instead of turning, the 1,000-watt Crispi Microwave has a flatbed design inside that Ninja says provides 40 percent more cooking power than a traditional microwave. You can squeeze two bags of popcorn in it, and the design is easy to clean.

When food is sufficiently heated, the microwave switches to air fryer mode, which has its own set of presets including air bake, max crisp, and air broil. To ensure that air heated to 450 degrees Fahrenheit circulates around your food to a crispy finish, the air fryer relies on a 5.5-quart glass container and insert that allows air to circulate under your food. That container has enough capacity for an 8-pound chicken that Ninja claims, and comes with two lids: one for storage and one with an inlet for warming vegetables.
