Spanish newspaper Marca described the highly-anticipated final as “the most beautiful final in the world”, with Spain and Argentina pitting two teams with quality, character and ambition on a date worthy of World Cup value.

AS newspaper, for its part, deemed the final a “dream final”, stating that fans will witness two of the strongest teams in the world clash in a game that brings together two different styles of football and similar ambitions for the world crown.

In Catalonia, the newspapers have taken on a more emotional tone due to the special confrontation between former Barcelona star Lionel Messi and current talent Lamine Yamal.

The Catalan Sport magazine wrote a famous headline. “The final against Messi… is incredible,” referring to the unique story uniting the Argentine player with the Spanish talent. After the famous photo brought them together 19 years ago when Yamal was a child.
