Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the panel, asked questions about “problem adjustments,” “insufficient efforts to follow investigative steps” and “reluctance to meet with victims,” ​​as well as Epstein’s accomplice Guslain Maxwell’s move to a low-security prison.

Blanche responded that it was a “Herculean task” to renovate and release six million pages in such a short period of time.

During one exchange, Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal asked Blanch to apologize to Epstein’s survivors for “mistreatment and mistakes.”
