Video: Royal Army deny Moroccan league lead

Royal Army missed out on a chance to claim the top spot in the Moroccan professional league after being held to a 0-0 draw by hosts Ittihad Tangier in the 18th round of the tournament on Sunday evening.

Royal Army players failed to score against Ittihad Tangier in 90 minutes.

Rabih Harimat almost scored the winner for the Royal Army with a powerful strike in the 74th minute, but goalkeeper Amin Al-Waad deflected the ball into the corner.

The Royal Army’s tally rose to 36 points in the league, two points behind leaders Morocco Fes.

Meanwhile, Ittihad Tangier’s score rose 18 points to 11th place.
