Sheetz, the US grocery chain, is on the move 838 places from VMware.

Sheetz has used VMware virtualization across two Dell R440/R450-series servers in each location since 2019. Ultimately, Sheetz will migrate approximately 11,000 VMs from the Broadcom platform. Sheetz is still using the original Dell server hardware.

So far, Sheetz has completed the relocation of more than 600 stores, about 200 per month, according to a company announcement today. Sheetz is expected to complete the move within four months, the announcement said.
