Moroccan international Amir Richardson is close to returning to French side Le Havre, the club he joined before leaving in the summer of 2023.
The Italian clubs “Fiorentina” and “Le Havre” have agreed to transfer the 24-year-old midfielder on a one-season loan with an option to buy for 8 million euros, reports the newspaper.“L’Equipe”French.

It comes after Richardson spent the second half of last season on loan at Danish side Copenhagen for six months before the club decided not to activate a buyout option.
Le Havre managed to complete the deal after negotiations with Fiorentina as part of his efforts to bring one of their most famous academy graduates back to the Ossian Stadium after he left three years ago.
Le Havre also outbid Nice in the race to sign Richardson, who were waiting to secure financial liquidity from the sale of some of their players before completing the deal.
The Moroccan is expected to undergo a medical next Friday or Saturday in preparation for an official announcement on his return to Le Havre.
Notably, Richardson made 9 appearances for Morocco’s first team, but was dropped from the Atlas Lions’ coaching staff for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup.
