Barcelona are close to officially sealing the second deal of the summer, as the plane carrying Barcelona’s expected player has already landed in Spain.

Barcelona earlier announced their first summer signing, signing England winger Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United to bolster their squad under manager Hansi Flick.

According to the newspaperBrand:Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi is already in Barcelona and is preparing to officially complete his move to Barcelona.

The player, who will become Barcelona’s second signing next season, will undergo a medical tomorrow, Thursday, and if there are no last-minute setbacks, he will sign a new contract with the club before joining Hansi Flick’s team.

The black-clad international arrived in Barcelona shortly after 4.30pm as scheduled after days of intense negotiations between Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund to finalize the details of the deal.

In fact, the striker did not join the German side’s pre-season training for the new season last Sunday, with the express approval of his club, pending the completion of his transfer procedures.

The contract between the two clubs was practically signed on Fridaywhen they reached a preliminary verbal agreement on a fixed amount of 22 million euros, plus 7 million euros in additions.

Over the past few days, both parties have worked to finalize the final financial details and finalize the necessary paperwork to complete the transaction. With these administrative procedures completed, Adeyemi traveled to Barcelona on Wednesday to complete the final steps before joining his official club.

Once the club officially announces the signing, Adeyemi will join training, most likely on Friday.
