White wins.. and the Al-Ahly star will not give up
Zamalek Club announced that it had received an official notice from the Egyptian Football Association, stating that the players’ affairs committee had decided to file a complaint against White Castle by its former star Ahmed Mostafa “Zizou”, before the player’s father responded by announcing escalation and taking the case to the International Court of Sports.
Zamalek said in an official statement that the Egyptian federation notified the club of the decision of the Footballers’ Affairs Committee, which was made after examining the complaint and the documents submitted by both parties, in order to ultimately decide whether to appeal.
Zizou lodged a complaint with the Football Association demanding payment of overdue financial debts to Zamalek following his departure from the club when his contract expires in the summer of 2025 and his move to Al-Ahly on a free transfer.
Zamalek, on the other hand, had earlier filed a complaint against the player due to his absence from team training during the last period of his contract with the club.
The Zizou camp’s response to the decision did not take long, as Mustafa Zizou, the player’s father and his agent, confirmed that the family would file a formal appeal against the decision of the players’ committee, saying the decision was “incomprehensible” to them.
Zizo’s father said in an exclusive statement to the website. “Yalla Football” “We will appeal the decision of the Football Association, after which we will appeal to the International Court of Sports (CAS) and defend all the rights of the player.
He added that the appeal was filed on April 8, 2025, a hearing was scheduled for September of the same year, and a decision was due in November before it was adjourned, and then the mandate of the players’ commission ended without a verdict, and they were surprised by the decision to appeal today.
He also criticized Zamalek’s financial demands, explaining that the club is demanding £60 million under the pretext of appearing in Zizou’s TV show and commercials, even though the percentage owed to the club, if any, does not exceed 20%.
The football player’s father concluded his statements by confirming the continuation of the legal procedures, stressing that Zizu will not give up his rights and will continue to appeal to the International Sports Court if necessary.
