England will face Argentina in the semifinal on Wednesday, hoping to reach the final of the World Cup for the first time since 1966.
Manager Thomas Tuchel said he did not feel burdened by history as he sought to lead England to first World Cup final in 60 against Argentina on Wednesday.

“I think that the players of both countries know very well what it means for them – if the game shows many times, then you can’t say that it’s another football game, but as a coach we do the same, looking at what we can influence.”
The German said he would not use the conflict between the two groups as “fuel” to fire his men.
“We know why we are here, we know what we want, we were not ashamed to expect that from ourselves, to say it or to dream,” he added.
“We are in the semifinals, and we arrived very hungry.”
The England boss said his entire squad had trained on the eve of the match and that Declan Rice was fit to play after his recovery. Jarell Quansah is still suspended, following his red card in England’s last 16 match against Mexico.
‘The biggest obstacle’
Tuchel explained that he had “no words” to describe the magic of Messi, who has scored eight goals so far and is second only to Kylian Mbappe in the game. Golden Shoes color.

If England can beat Argentina, they will face Spain in Sunday’s final La Roja after defeating the world champions twice France with a show of control in the first semifinal.
