The Spanish Football Federation announced on Monday the official registration of Real Madrid C to compete in Spain’s second division as part of the club’s registration decisions for the new season, along with the rest of the club’s non-professional teams.
According to the decision, Real Madrid C will compete in Group A for the season, pending confirmation of the final allocation of clubs by the Spanish Federation.

Club registration will close on July 15 and league competition will begin on the weekend of September 5 and 6, marking the start of the reserve team’s journey into its new season.
The importance of the decision lies in the fact that Real Madrid’s reserve team failed to stay in the second division last season after two defeats against Estepona. relegated to the third division.
But Tarazona and Arntero’s relegation to the second division due to non-payment of player fees opened the way for the registration of two other clubs, which Real Madrid’s reserves enjoyed.
Registration of other Real Madrid teams participating in non-professional categories includes: Castilla in the First Division, Real Madrid B in the Women’s First Division, and youth teams in the Second Division and the Spanish Primera.
Castilla B, which occupied the other vacant place in this category, also registered its reserve team in the fourth division of Spain.
