Pilot wrote ‘I’m bored’ in the sky while flying from Liverpool

A light plane pilot wrote “I’m bored” during a two-hour test flight – his misleading flight path appeared on an online tracking app.

The Ravenair plane took off from Liverpool at 11:30 BST on Saturday before flying over the Wirral Peninsula, Cheshire and North Wales, reports FlightRadar24.

The airline said a flight instructor in his 20s who took the Piper Tomahawk for a test flight landed in Merseyside at 13:30 BST after a part on the plane was replaced.

Operations manager Wayne Barrett said: “I think the pilot was literally a bit bored as it was just a test flight. Mind you, it was very skillful flying.”
