The Three Lions have a date with Argentina
The Norwegian airline Norwegian Air made a social media bet with British Airways by replacing the image of its official Instagram account with the British Airways logo for 24 hours.
This happened after the Norwegian team lost 2-1 to England in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup yesterday, Saturday night.
the agency reports Reuters Before the match, the two companies agreed on a friendly bet, according to which the airline of the losing country would change its profile picture on Instagram to the logo of the airline of the winning country for a whole day.

Norwegian Air accompanied the new logo with a message that reads: “Although the tournament is over for us, this friendly bet will forever be immortalized in all of our hearts.”
The company also sent a congratulatory message to its competitor, saying: “We wish England and British Airways all the best in their semi-final and we sincerely hope they can bring home the trophy.”
The English team will meet its partner Argentina, the current champion, in the semi-finals of the World Cup next Wednesday in the American city of Atlanta.
