“Granada” coach Jose Rojo Martin made statements about the condition of Algerian goalkeeper Luca Zidane, who was seriously injured a few days ago.
A week after suffering a serious facial injury, Luca Zidane has begun his gradual comeback, although the end of the season with Granada remains uncertain.
After successfully undergoing surgery to treat a double broken jaw and chin, the goalkeeper is now entering a recovery phase that is expected to take several weeks, prompting his coach Jose Rojo Martin to comment on the surgery he deemed necessary.
“The decision regarding Luca was made based on the available medical data in addition to the player’s opinion,” Martin said, according to Foot Mercato.
He continued. “Surgery was inevitable. Hopefully he will be back before the end of the season, but it will all depend on his recovery.”
In any case, Algeria is still eagerly awaiting his return and hopes to see Zinedine’s son in top form to participate in the World Cup, which will be held next summer in America, Canada and Mexico.
