Prince Harry speaks of grief, stress and loss on final trip to UK

His father, Rev. John Hill, served in the Navy and died in 16-year-old Sebastian Harry, who died in 2010, asked if he did anything special to mark his mother’s death anniversary or birthday.

“Yes, we’re going to make a lemon drop cake,” Harry replied. “I think traditions are really important, especially when they’re sweet.”

Joshua, 21, and his father, Lance Corporal Christopher Bradshaw, died in 2011. who died in a road accident in November 2011, asked, “When life gets tough and things get tough, what do you do to de-stress and relax?”

Duke replied: “Exercise is universally good for helping with grief, stress, loss.”

“To go for a walk in nature, to walk the dog or to swim in the cold sea – I love it – just to get yourself out and move.”

“It’s very easy to sit in your sadness, to sit in your anxiety,” Harry said, but he realized that it’s better to do something – talk.
