Wimbledon 2026 results: Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid win seventh men’s wheelchair doubles title


British duo Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid won their seventh Wimbledon men’s wheelchair doubles title as a partnership, fighting back from a set down on Court One to beat Argentina’s Gustavo Fernandez and Japan’s Tokito Oda 2-6 6-1 6-2.

Fernandez and Oda broke Hewett and Reid in all four of their service games during the first set, but the Brits responded brilliantly by winning nine of the next 10 games.

The run gave Hewett and Reed a 3–0 lead in the deciding set and they won a high-quality final to win their 25th Grand Slam doubles title as a pair.

Hewett, 28, and Reed, 34, too Won the French Open In June, when Fernandez and Oda hold the other two Grand Slam titles – the US Open and the Australian Open.

Hewett and Oda meet again in the men’s wheelchair singles final on Sunday.

Oda, the top seed, is the defending champion and is seeking a third singles crown at SW19, while second seed Hewett is aiming to add to his previous title haul in 2024.
