A Vietnamese speedboat capsized, killing 15 people and dozens more being rescued

VnExpress reported that the speedboat may have capsized due to strong winds and high waves.

“The first priority is rescue, bringing all victims to shore and focusing all efforts on providing emergency care to the survivors,” Hay said.

The Indian Embassy in Vietnam has published the full names of the 32 Indian nationals on board the overturned boat, describing the incident as “tragic”.

The embassy has also set up hotlines to “provide information and support to affected families”.
