Bonnie asks superfan Tyler for an autograph and then spends Christmas at her Mumbles home.

According to Marshall, Tyler was singing at St David’s Hall while studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music in Cardiff.

“So I got up there, it was a St David’s Day concert, and the security guy said, ‘Yeah, okay, nothing’. So I left a note and came back a bit later and said, ‘They’re at the International Hotel and they’ve asked me to come down for tea.’

“I took my college friend with me and everyone was so nervous (I know Bonnie Tyler).”

The Christmas party happened on Christmas Eve when he was around 20 years old when he married her in a bar.

In the year He attended her annual Christmas Day gatherings for the next 29 years until his last in 2019 with her husband, Robert Sullivan.

In later years, after Marshall’s mother dies, his father moves in with him.

He revealed that he had “flowing champagne all day” and plenty of buffets, as well as a “host of celebrities” including Catherine Zeta Jones and Sir Gareth Edwards.

Marshall, a concert pianist, said he and Tyler “do our little turn” every year, playing songs and some of her greatest works, including Total Heartbreak and Bravery.

They once sang “All 10 Minutes of Bat from Hell” with singer Lorraine Crosby, best known for being the female vocalist on Meatloaf’s 1993 album.
