Meta backtracks on Instagram’s AI image for privacy reasons | Cybersecurity issues

Meta has brought back its ‘Muse Image’ AI after controversy over privacy and licensing. The tool allowed users to create AI portraits of people by simply ‘@ mentioning’ public Instagram accounts. The negatives were immediate and global – forcing Meta to say it had ‘missed the mark’.
