Meta has suddenly taken down a new feature that allows people to use its artificial intelligence (AI) tools to create fake images from user content on Instagram.
The feature was part of a broader rollout of Muse Image, the new AI image generation tool Meta released Tuesday as part of the company’s chatbot component Meta AI.
