50 Cent asked the judge to grant him bail to work on a European tour

Green said BBC investigators initially suspected 50 Cent was supporting Hassan’s bail request, which the judge rejected.

“It’s a very special moment when something like that comes in and I think the team is a little bit nervous,” he said.

“Obviously they think it’s fake to begin with … It’s obviously one of those things that you don’t forget as part of an investigation.”

But investigators said Hasan’s defense team later turned in photos and videos of him on private jets and on tour dates in the US.

The rapper submitted another letter to the sentencing hearing as part of Hassan’s plea deal.

In it, 50 Cent said that he “has known and worked closely with him for many years, both professionally and personally.”

The rapper said in the letter: “I am writing as someone who directly trusts him (Hassan) in my own business and knows his character through years of experience.”

“I am aware of Mr. Hasan’s case before the court, and I am not writing to lighten the case. I am writing to provide the court with reliable information about a man I have known through working with him for years.”

Later in the letter, 50 St. Hassan said, “There will be a job opportunity” upon his release: “His experience, reliability, and understanding of the job make him someone I would accept without hesitation.”
