After leaving Zamalek, will Hossam Abdel Majid play alongside the defender of the Zionist organization?

The player of the Egyptian national team is in a serious condition

Zamalek and Egypt defender Hossam Abdel Majid could be forced to play alongside the Zionist Organization defender if he leaves the White Knights next season.

Zamalek have agreed to let Hossam Abdel Majid leave for Bulgarian club Ludogorets Razgrad in next summer’s transfer window, with one season remaining on his contract, media reports have confirmed.

Returning to the Bulgarian club’s roster, it includes Zionist Organization defender Idan Nachmias, who has been with the team since last summer, when he joined Maccabi Tel Aviv on a free transfer after his contract expired.

At the time, Nachmias signed a 3-year contract extension ending in 2028, meaning there is no intention of him leaving next season, especially after his record with the team last season.

In the previous season, the 29-year-old player participated in 27 matches in various tournaments as part of “Ludogorets”, during which he managed to score one goal and receive 4 yellow cards.

Internationally, Nachmias has made 18 appearances with the Zionist Organization’s national team since his first call-up in 2020, failing to score or assist.

Ludogorets’ Hossam Abdel Majid could pose a new crisis for the Egyptian defender, especially since the Zionist player plays in the defensive line and he may have to play alongside him in some matches.

It is noteworthy that Hossam Abdel Majid performed well for Egypt at the 2026 World Cup despite his regular participation as a substitute, as he scored the winner of the penalty that took the Pharaohs to the round of 16 at the expense of Australia.
