The Indian cricket board will review the performance of the T20 team after the national champions’ back-to-back losses to Ireland and England, an official said.
India suffered a nine-wicket defeat in the fourth T20I against England on Thursday, handing the hosts a 3-0 lead with one over to play.

The defeat was India’s fifth in a row, following a 2-0 series drubbing by Ireland last month.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will meet to discuss the team’s actions after the England tour ends on July 19, secretary Devajit Saikia said on Friday.
“The BCCI is currently looking at the Indian T20 squad’s performance in the ongoing series in England,” Saikia, who is in Edinburgh for the International Cricket Council’s annual meeting, told news agency AFP in a telephone interview.
“We will have a review meeting with the team to discuss what went wrong in England.”
India, who lifted the T20 World Cup trophy in March, he endured a major drop in form. On Thursday, they reached 158-7 in Bristol, a target England chased down by nine wickets with more than six overs to spare.
The defeat came days after India were bowled out for just 76 in Nottingham, their heaviest T20 loss by 125 runs.
Saikia described the fall as a temporary setback.
“This is not an unusual thing and it can happen in world cricket. We see it as a negative aspect,” he said.
India, coached by Gautam Gambhir, have been without Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya all-rounder due to workload and injury concerns.
