England will play six Twenty20 matches against New Zealand and India before the World Cup in June.

Vice-captain Charlie Dean will lead the team in Syver-Brunt’s absence in the three-match ODI series, which starts in Durham on Sunday 10 May and includes games at Northampton (May 13) and Cardiff (May 16).

Hampshire and Southern Braves batter Maia Bouchier, 27, has been called up to cover the series.
