You can stop sharing your location the same way People tab by clicking on the appropriate person and selecting Stop Sharing My Location. You can quickly stop sharing with anyone by choosing Me tab and turn it off Share My Location.

How to Share Your Location Using Facebook Messenger

If you’re already chatting with a person or group you want to send your location to in the popular Facebook Messenger app, you can share your location without logging out. This is working Android and iOS.

1. Open Messenger and select the appropriate conversation with the person or people you want to share your location with.
2. Click on Choices icon (plus) at the bottom left, then Place symbol (arrow).
3. You may be asked to provide location access to the Messenger app.
4. Click Start sharing the available space or if you want to share a fixed location, search for it or click on the location in the lower right corner and drag the map to place it where you want, then click Submit a location.
5. If you choose to share your location, it will be shared for an hour, and you will see a way to do it Stop Sharing and a countdown clock next to it.

How to Share Your Location Using WhatsApp

If the person or people you want to share with use WhatsApp, it’s easy to share your location with them. This is available for both Android and iOS.

1. Open WhatsApp and select it Chatting tab.
2. Select the person or group you want to share with.
3. On the iPhone, click the plus sign in the bottom left corner. On an Android phone, click the paperclip icon at the bottom right.
4. Choose Place. You can knock Go ahead and Let it to give WhatsApp access to your data.
5. Click Submit Your Place Now for a snapshot of where you are now, or Share a Living Space sharing your exact location while roaming for the time you specify (from 15 minutes to 8 hours).
