Morocco and Argentina are a global barrier to European hegemony
Against Egypt…Argentina repeated Brazil’s achievement after 88 years
With this qualification, France became the third team in the history of the World Cup to reach the semi-finals in three consecutive appearances.
Only two teams have preceded France in this achievement: Germany, who achieved it twice in the periods (1982-1990) and (2002-2014), and Brazil in the periods (1994-2002).
France joined this historic list by reaching the semi-finals in 2018, 2022 and 2026.
In the 32nd round of the current season, the “roosters” defeated Sweden (3-0), and in the 1/16 they narrowly defeated Paraguay (1-0).
