Lille star Eitan Mbappe has sent a touching message to his Moroccan counterpart Ayoub Bouadi ahead of their 2026 World Cup clash with France.
Bouadi is preparing with the Moroccan national team for the match against France led by Kylian Mbappé in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup on Thursday evening.
Although Ethan supported his older brother Kylian Mbappe in the France national team, he wished Bouadi the best of luck.
In a video published by Lille Club on the X website, Ethan said: “I hope my friend has a good match as promised.”
He added: “Unfortunately, I have a family member in the French national team, so I’m rooting for the Roosters to beat Morocco.”
He emphasized. “But I hope with all my heart that Ayoub will have a great match as he promised.”
Lille star Olivier Giroud also supported his partner Bouaddi, saying: “I wish you a very great match, but I cannot wish you victory, my friend. You know exactly why.”
