After re-entering the competition AI is his the first domestic Muse Spark model in April, Meta is now opening the doors to developers with a new model that can be integrated into AI coding programs with the new Meta Model API.
Meta says Muse Spark 1.1 is a “gradual improvement” from the first generation, with improvements based on feedback from developers. The company claims to be able to produce high-quality documents, including identifying and correcting critical errors; effectively supports end-to-end agetic workflows across different applications, including multiple support systems; and has a multimodal perspective on images, video, and text.
The launch of Muse Spark 1.1 follows this week’s launch Image of the Musea type of image creation that has become controversial due to its ability to include the content of other Instagram users in its generation. It is part of Meta’s competition to justify the billions that were used to participate in the AI competition and try to achieve cooperation with companies such as OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic, especially after the many people in the history and restructuring of the company last year.
The new version 1.1 is now available in Thinking mode via the Meta AI app and the Meta AI website. It will also be available through the new Meta Model API, which is available starting today for US public viewing. Meta includes a $20 free deposit with a new Meta Model API account. Muse Spark was only available directly through Meta AI, before launching chatbots within Instagram and WhatsApp, and the latest Meta smart glasses.
