Amseatec Chairman Criss Cross Office Comment: Right

Faux leather jackets are useful. It is marketed as pet-scratch-resistant, so I purposely left the chair in my living room for a few days where it would attract the attention of my toddler and my Velcro corgi. The items survived without visible marks, and while they did get the occasional applesauce smudge or oil mark, everything was wiped clean with a damp cloth. But if given a choice, I’d still choose a breathable fabric. The dress got a little warm, especially when I was wearing shorts and I was working in the attic of my house where the AC is hard to reach.

Wide office chairs have a reputation for being a little gimmicky. So when I tried this one, I expected it to be weak or wobbly after a few weeks, but it held up well.

The meeting lasted about 20 minutes, and everything was in line with the instructions. Most importantly, when it’s together, it feels solid. After more than a month of working (and riding in it all the time as ergonomic-office chair manufacturers probably did not want), there is no vibration or vibration in the frame.

As I mentioned before, the last recliner I had didn’t have wheels, which was my biggest problem. Amseatec is as good as it gets. It floats well on hardwood floors without being too slippery, but the pads are also large enough to roll on carpet.

All the rooms I keep running into: This is a lot of furniture. On top of that, the armrests don’t attach properly to the bottom of any desk, even when the chair is lowered all the way. Pressing the rests down a bit solved the problem, but then they sat too low to be useful as real tools. It wasn’t a problem with my adjustable desk, but if you work on one with a fixed height, it’s important to measure your clearance before doing it.

Regardless, I think I’ve found my unicorn desk chair. The Amseatec Criss-Cross chair isn’t perfect, but it gives me enough space to sit where I want, and I’ve been holding myself up after work, which is probably the best compliment I can give an office chair.
