Full details of the Saudi Women’s Football Indivisa Award for Player of the Year category, the list of nominees and their most notable attributes, provided by Roshen Group.
The first edition of the Saudi Indivisa Women’s Football Awards will be held, presented by the Roshan Group, the leading multi-functional real estate developer in Saudi Arabia and a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund.
All prizes will be presented by Roshen Group in partnership with the Indivisa platform.
The women’s football awards in Saudi Arabia are not limited to an official ceremony, as they will be supported by a range of media materials through Futbolco’s network of Arabic media brands, which include Goal, Kooora and Indivisa. Together, these platforms reach more than 170 million Arabic-speaking fans per month, including more than 20 million fans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 13, following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 Saudi Women’s Premier League season.
These lists are selected by a specialized committee that includes journalists from the Indiviza website and a technical committee from various backgrounds.
As for the voting system, the first stage is the publication of the preliminary lists on April 20, then open voting for the public, and the voting will end on the 30th of the same month.
The second phase will begin on May 1 with the publication of mini-lists, and each list will include 3 names.
New voting will then open for 10 days and close on May 10.
Indivisa has announced the nominees for the Saudi Football Player of the Year award as follows:
The first candidate is the Frenchwoman Lea Le Jaric, the midfielder of Al-Qadisiya, and she is considered one of the players who creates the most goals with her assists. Brazil’s Maria Eduardo also made the list as the Al-Nasr captain is good in more than one position: defense, midfield and attack.
Let’s not forget Congolese Naomi Kabakaba, a winger for Al-Ahly who is considered one of the team’s top scorers in the Saudi Women’s Premier League, as well as Brazilian Adriana Silva, a striker for Al-Qadisiya, who also plays well on the wings.
From Saudi Arabia, Sarah Al-Hamad is on the list as the Al-Nasr right-back is seen as one of the key players in creating goals for her teammates, as well as France’s Khaira Hamraoui, Al-Hilal’s midfielder, who links defense and midfield well and creates goals with her decisive passing.
Finally, Tanzanian Clara Lufanga, a striker for Al-Nasr, is the team’s top scorer in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.
