Will the legend of “Real Madrid” continue his career in the national team of his country?

The newspaper explained that the return of the former Al-Ittihad coach would be very beneficial, especially with regard to midfielder Luka Modric, as it was Bilic who first invited him to the Croatian national team at Euro-2008.
According to the paper, Bilic’s appointment could force Modric to reverse his decision to retire from international football after the 2026 World Cup and continue playing for Croatia until the European Cup of Nations (Euro 2028).
It is noteworthy that the Croatian national team will return to the matches next September, when in the first round of Group C of the European League of Nations 2027, it will meet the national team of the Czech Republic, next to which the national teams of Spain and England are included.
