Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has urged patience in what he described as a “slow” summer transfer window.
The Championship club, who travel to the US for three pre-season games later this month, are yet to make a new signing.
Parkinson said Stoke would be the next departure from Sea Russ Last month saw the departure of striker Paul Mullin.
“It’s a matter of patience as always, making sure we hold our nerve to get the right players that we feel can make a difference,” Parkinson told BBC Sport Wales.
Wrexham face Leeds in Tampa on Sunday July 26 before taking on Liverpool in New York and Sunderland in Pennsylvania.
Parkinson said: “I’d love to be able to sign a few new ones on that tour. If that happens, great, if not then we’re in Australia (last year) like we did.
“The whole time there we were working on recruitment and we didn’t let that affect us building the squad we wanted.”
Fans’ favorite Mullin left the club by mutual consent while the midfielder remained Tom O’Connor makes permanent move to Peterborough United.
“Obviously, that’s the journey players have to take because of the numbers we’ve worked with Paul,” added Parkinson.
“Mo Fal has signed for Port Vale on a one-year loan and one or two others should go out as well.”
