Famous Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that “Real Betis” has reached an agreement with “Real Madrid” to acquire left back Fran Garcia in the current summer transfer period.

Romano explained in a tweet on the X platform that the deal is worth €4 million, while Real Madrid will retain 50% of the player’s future transfer fee as part of the agreement between the two clubs.

He added that the football player’s medical examinations have already been scheduled, Fran Garcia will arrive in Seville in the next few hours to prepare for the official completion of his transfer to “Real Betis”.

Romano noted that Garcia’s departure confirms the details of Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho’s plan for the new season at Real Madrid, as he will rely on Chelsea signing Marc Cucurella at left-back, with Alvaro Carreras as his replacement while Ferlan Mendy recovers from injury.

Real Betis are expected to officially announce the deal after the player passes a medical and completes the final procedures.
