The planned heavyweight fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua could take place at Wembley Stadium in the morning, BBC Sport understands.
Turki Alashik, the Saudi power broker who coordinates the entire British campaign He said on Monday He wants the fight to take place in England with an international television audience.
The main event should start by 04:00 GMT if the tournament is October or November this year – to suit prime time viewers living in the USA.
Sources close to London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan have told BBC Sport that such a proposal is “possible”, but Alshik and other stakeholders have yet to meet to stage the fight.
Wembley Stadium usually has a curfew of 11pm. A formal request will be made once the mayor agrees with Brent Council – the local authority – whether he can commit to the fight.
“Any changes to (the ban) will have to be reviewed by Brent Council’s partner Stadium Safety Advisory Group,” the council told BBC Sport.
BBC Sport have spoken to Alalshik’s representatives for comment.
“I tell you from the beginning, it depends on England giving us everything we want,” Alshik said on Monday.
We want the fight here in England, but we want the world time zone, especially America.
“If they let us have Wembley at night, we want to do it in England. It’s the time and the audience.
“We will talk with the mayors and Prince Abdullah (bin Khalid bin Sultan).”
It will not be the first combat sports event planned around the US television market to be held in Britain. When UFC 304 takes place in July 2024 in Manchester, the main card doesn’t start until 01:00 BST.
Last month, Macharum’s promoter Eddie Hearn, representing Joshua, dismissed speculation that the fight could take place in the US. Hearn’s current deal, signed by all parties, states that the fight must take place in the United Kingdom.
Anger and Joshua are both set to return to the ring later this month ahead of a potential meeting later in the year.
The 37-year-old former WBC heavyweight champion Fury faces Poland’s Mariusz Wach on July 24 in Thailand, while two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua takes on Christian Pringa the following day in Saudi Arabia.
