Big suffering for Don in the World Cup
Three goalkeepers of the 2026 World Cup dribbled past Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo throughout the tournament.
Ronaldo said goodbye to his country, Portugal, at the 2026 World Cupfrom the quarter-finals, losing to Spain (1-0) in crucial time, last Monday evening.
After leaving the Portugal national team, “Whoscored” network reported that Cristiano Ronaldo did not make a single correct dribble during the 5 matches he participated in the World Cup.
He noted that there are 3 goalkeepers who have dribbled better than Don: Iran goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand (3 dribbles), Brazil goalkeeper Alison Becker (1 dribble) and Cape Verde goalkeeper Fossinha (1 dribble).
Iran crashed out of the World Cup in the group stage and Brazil went out against Norway in the round of 16, as did Cape Verde against Argentina in the round of 32.
