The reaction at Premier League clubs continues as Egypt star Mohamed Salah ends his journey with Liverpool after a nine-year career full of individual and collective achievements.

Salah officially announced at the end of last March that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the current 2025-2026 season.

In this context, the Norwegian “Manchester City” striker Erling Haaland expressed his great admiration for the Egyptian star, explaining that their confrontations are special and often complicated.

“I think what Mohamed Salah has done speaks for itself. I don’t have an exact number on the number of goals he has but they are many and very impressive and some of them were in our own net which frustrated us at times,” Holland told Sky Sports.

The Norwegian star confirmed that playing against Salah was a “powerful and enjoyable experience at the same time”, noting that he was “lucky” to receive a symbolic gift from Salah, his shirt, which he keeps at home.

For his part, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has described Salah as always one of the main sources of worry for his plans, praising his exceptional ability and movement behind the defense, in addition to his harmony with his teammates, considering him a legendary player who has left a clear mark on football.

For his part, Arsenal’s Declan Rice praised Salah’s character on and off the pitch, stressing that he is a humble yet dangerous player who can make a difference for his team at any moment.

Former Belgian star Eden Hazard also sent a message of gratitude to Salah, considering that it is always a pleasure to meet him, wishing him success in his next step, stressing that he is one of the best of his generation and concluded: “I hope to see you soon.”
