The Al Hilal legend has opened fire on the Portuguese star
Al-Hilal legend Sami Al-Jaber has criticized Al-Nasri captain Cristiano Ronaldo for his comments after the recent El Clasico against arch-rivals Al-Ahly.
Ronaldo led Al-Nasri to a clean sweep against Al-Ahly in the thirtieth round of the Rushen League at Al-Awal Park last Wednesday.
After the match, Ronaldo made strong statements, in which he criticized some of the comments of the players of the Saudi League, considering them to be damaging to the tournament, stressing that he will talk about all the issues in detail after the end of the season.
Al-Jaber criticized Ronaldo’s statements during MBC1’s “Our Club” program, as he considers them an indirect threat to Saudi League officials.
“When Ronaldo says that he will speak after the end of the championship, it is an indirect threat to the legend of Al Hilal in this regard.

He explained. “He spoke in the middle of the competition, and his name is heard globally, and when he makes a statement like that, it puts pressure on everyone.”
“If Al-Nasr wins the league, I don’t think Ronaldo will make any statement, but if he loses the title to Al-Hilal, he will say the same things that (Mereh) Demiral said, and that is a kind of threat.”
Al-Jaber refers to the statements of Turkish Merih Demiral, the defender of “Al-Ahly Jeddah”, in which he emphasized that everyone is trying to help Al-Nasr win the title, for which he was suspended for the game and fined 50 thousand Saudi Riyals.

Al-Jaber continued. “I think the league title is whoever got punished for misbehaving. Players sign contracts worth millions of dollars and there is nothing like it in the world. These agreements must be drafted in such a way as to protect the rights of the Saudi League.”
“Contracts need to be drafted better so that Mary Demiral, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruben Neves or Jorge Jesus don’t come out and talk like this.”
“Whoever brings in these players and gives them this huge amount of money should work out the contracts in a way that protects this country, its assets and the league that has raised the stakes in Saudi football so that no one crosses the red lines.”
