Egypt are set to produce one of their strongest performances of the tournament when they face Argentina in the quarter-finals, after impressing on their World Cup journey to continue their dream of making World Cup history.

Egypt will take on Argentina, continuing their strong run at the 2026 World Cup as they edged out Australia in the round of 32 to secure their place in the last eight, where they will face reigning champions Argentina at the Atlanta Stadium.

As for Argentina, they advanced to the finals after a perfect group stage, narrowly beating Cape Verde 3-2 after extra time in the Round of 32 to set up a date with Egypt in one of the most famous encounters of the round.
