Al-Ittihad Saudi Arabia has announced that it has officially signed player Rakan Kaabi to strengthen the ranks of the first team in the coming period as part of the management’s moves to support the team in preparation for the new season.

Al-Ittihad released a photo of the player in the team’s shirt via their official accounts, confirming the completion of a four-season deal to keep Kaabi at Al-Amid until the summer of 2030.

Al-Ittihad Sporting Director Mr. Frank Capo welcomed the new player, wishing him success in his career with the team and that he will contribute to achieving success and victories in the coming years.

The club confirmed in a statement that the signing of Rakan Kaabi comes as part of the management’s plan to strengthen the team’s ranks, who can provide technical additions and continue to compete in various domestic and continental championships.

The management of the union is looking to rebuild the squad strongly before the start of the new season, especially after a season that did not live up to the aspirations of Al-Amid fans who hope to see their team fight for all the titles.

Kaabi is expected to join Al-Ittihad training in the coming days as the technical staff prepare for the new season’s pre-season to make his mark on the team’s scoresheet since the start of his career in the team shirt.

Union officials hope the deal will be a new addition to the squad as the club looks to build a roster capable of regaining its luster and making a strong return to the podium in the coming years.
